IGF x India AI Impact Summit 2026 | High Impact Roundtable with Sam Altman

During the India AI Impact Summit 2026 (16–20 February) in New Delhi, IGF hosted a series of high-level engagements bringing together global technology leaders, senior policymakers, and India’s foremost industry voices to advance dialogue on artificial intelligence and future-facing technologies.

IGF curated multiple closed-door and senior-level interactions focused on AI governance, industrial and enterprise adoption, leadership-led transformation, and international collaboration, reflecting India’s growing role not just as a market for AI innovation, but as a contributor to shaping its global direction.

These included the IGF x OpenAI Leadership Roundtable, a private working lunch that brought together Sam Altman, CEO, OpenAI and Brad Lightcap, COO, OpenAI, with a select group of leading Indian corporate leaders. The discussion was led by IGF Chairman Manoj Ladwa and Sam Altman, focusing on enterprise AI adoption, long-term competitiveness, and India’s role in the global AI ecosystem.

IGF also hosted an interaction with Kanishka Narayan, UK Minister for AI & Online Safety and a leadership-level dialogue involving Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Rishi Sunak, Former Prime Minister of the UK, and enabled wider conversations focused on responsible AI, innovation, and global cooperation.

Together, these engagements underscore IGF’s role as a trusted global convenor, creating platforms that sit alongside major global moments to connect technology pioneers, policymakers, and industry leaders, and to help shape long-term strategies that position India at the centre of the emerging AI economy.
