Covid-19 Update - 14 June 2021

Further to the UK Prime Minister’s Covid update of 14 June, India Global Forum will take place as scheduled in Hybrid Format within the restrictions set out in Roadmap Step 3 of the guidance relating to organised events. This will mean compliance with rules relating to social distancing and the wearing of masks as appropriate. We will complete a related risk assessment with our venues and work with stakeholders to ensure maximum attention is given to the health and safety of all our speakers and guests throughout the event.

Further announcements and guidance will be shared as necessary in due course.

Any guests or speakers attending the event in person showing symptoms such as fever, constant cough or loss of taste and smell should not attend India Global Forum 2021, get in touch with our team and stay at home.

COVID-19 protocols being followed at the venue

The safety of our guests and speakers is of paramount importance to us. We are working closely with the Taj 51 Buckingham Gate, the venue of India Global Forum 2021, to ensure the safety of our guests at all times. The following has been put in place at the venue:

  • Enhanced public area cleaning programme with regular disinfection of all high touch areas in all their food and beverage areas.
  • Safe food grade disinfectants used in all public areas (restaurants, meeting rooms and private dining rooms) and kitchens for all hard and soft surfaces.
  • Equipment, stationery, cutlery, crockery and linen religiously disinfected at regular intervals or after every use.
  • Non-invasive thermal screening for all of the staff at the Taj
  • Food grade sanitiser guns used for effectively sanitising the furniture in all the food and beverage areas.
  • Visible hygiene kits including hand sanitiser, masks and tissues provided at interaction points for guests and staff to use. We highly recommend our guests to wash hands regularly.
  • The servers will be wearing masks and food safe gloves at all times during service. The staff at the venue will be wearing face coverings and additional PPE where required
  • Physical distancing of 1m will be in place in all public areas with signage reinforcement.
