This award, helmed and judged by bestselling authors Jeffrey Archer and Amish Tripathi, offers a substantial prize of $25,000 to celebrate outstanding contributions to Indian fiction.
The IGF Archer Amish Award for Storytellers honours authors who bring the “India story” to life, showcasing narratives that reflect the depth of Indian culture through an authentic, uniquely Indian lens. Applications are open to authors whose work reflects this commitment to storytelling and Indian perspectives.
As a special highlight, winners will also feature on an exclusive interview. This session will give authors the chance to introduce themselves and their work to IGF’s unmatched network in India and beyond, opening up a whole new audience.
Eligibility Criteria:Novel, minimum 20,000 words, of a single continuous narrative, originally written and published in English (no translations/adaptations).
Published between 1 November 2024 - 31 October 2025(inclusive) by a recognised publisher, carrying a valid ISBN.
Who may submit: Authors, publishers/imprints, and literary agents, confirming they hold the necessary rights/permissions. One submission per author, including co-authored titles (which count for each named author).
